Pray Rain Journaling – Manifestation Technique

Keeping a pray rain journal is one of my favorite manifestation techniques, mainly because it works. I’ve manifested several wonderful things in my life with this method, including the condo I currently live in, various jobs I’ve held, even my successful website! People using this technique have literally seen results within hours, and you’ll be hooked once you try it because it’s so effective (not to mention fun!).

Pray rain journaling is a technique whereby you write in a journal on a daily basis as if whatever you want to create in your life has already come to pass. You do not write from the standpoint of wanting something to happen, you write as if it has already come to pass and is already present or a part of your life. This speeds up the manifestation process because the law of attraction ensures that whatever we regularly focus on is what will show up in our lives.

To start, take a blank journal (or sheet of paper) and write a page in your journal every day as if your dream has already come true. Whatever you would like to create (soulmate relationship, weight loss, career success, financial freedom, etc.), write in your journal as if that thing has already come true for you.

For example, if your desire is to get married, write a page a day as if you are already married to your amazing spouse and living the life of your dreams. Be sure to describe your spouse and relationship in detail. Do you have children together? What kind of home do you live in? If your ambition is to own your own company someday, write a page a day as if you are already the owner of your successful company and describe it in detail. What are your annual profits? The term ‘pray rain’ comes from a story about a community that was in a serious drought and in desperate need of rain. A visitor to the community learned of this situation and offered to perform a rain dance in order to summon the much-needed rain. However, when he went out and did his rain dance, everyone was puzzled because it looked like he was just standing there not moving, rather than dancing around and chanting for rain as they had expected. When they asked him what he was doing, he answered, “I was praying rain”… as opposed to praying for rain. Can you see the difference?

He used his imagination and focused on what it would feel like if raindrops were falling on his forehead and arms, he felt his clothes drenched with water, he imagined what it would be like if all the crops were well-nourished and abundant, and he visualized the community as a whole having plenty of water to drink. Instead of praying for rain and coming from a place of lack, he prayed rain as if the rain the community needed was already a reality!

This is exactly what we should all do in order to make things happen in our lives: feel the feelings now of already having that which you desire to create in your life. The powerful law of attraction ensures that if we feel now how we would feel once the particular thing or situation arrives in our life, then that thing or situation has no choice but to show up! New Manufactured Home Foundation Essentials – 2 Must Have Upgrades

A Vapor Barrier for a Mobile or Manufactured home is a sheet of thick, rubbery plastic that goes directly over the dirt under a Mobile or Manufactured home. The foundation piers then rest on top of this barrier.

You really need to make sure a home you buy or have installed has this protection. Mobile and Manufactured homes need dry ventilation underneath. This barrier will prevent any moisture from damaging the home – especially rotting of the floors, but also helping with fungus, mold, and termites.

Making sure that a vapor barrier is installed before you buy a Mobile or Manufactured home is absolutely necessary. And the additional cost is very minimal considering the amount of protection you gain.

If you are buying a mobile or manufactured home that is already on a space, but with no vapor barrier, then you can hire a contractor to install a vapor barrier under the home. They will just have to cut pieces that will go around the pier-and-post foundation and all piping in place. This is not ideal, but way better than no barrier at all.

Mobile Home Earthquake Bracing

Earthquake bracing is recommended in California, and elsewhere earthquakes are common. Mobile Homes and Manufactured Homes are especially susceptible to damage in a earthquake due to their foundation system (most of the time they are installed on a pier-and-post system).

Earthquake bracing is a simple upgrade that can increase the value of your home by at least the cost of installation of the bracing. This cost is running from $2000 to $4500 in California right now. The actual brace is like a shock absorber in a car, but installed at an angle from the steel I-beam on the bottom of the home, and anchored to the ground. This brace will keep the home from shifting off the pier-and-post foundation.

Insurance companies may insist on having earthquake bracing installed if you want to purchase earthquake insurance on your Mobile Home or Manufactured Home.

Earthquake bracing can also help a Mobile Home not come off the foundation in high winds, although it is not designed to do this and should not be relied on for this.

Traditional Vs Lean Manufacturing Concepts

When we think about lean manufacturing we think about work cells, kanban cards, TQM and so on. But many people do a basic mistake. That is the mistake of not understanding the concepts on which lean manufacturing built on. Many people who copied lean manufacturing failed because they did not understood the concepts behind lean manufacturing.

We shall give a simple definition to lean manufacturing before we go further. Lean manufacturing can be defined as a systematic approach to continuously identify and remove the wastes from the system. All the tools and techniques are based on fulfillment of this simple requirement.

To identify the conceptual difference between lean manufacturing and conventional manufacturing, we will have a look at the definition given above. There is a very important word to note. That is “Removing”. Removing of waste from the system might not sound very different to minimization of wastes in the system, what we talk in conventional manufacturing. But think carefully. These two words are very different in the context of manufacturing (or even services).

When you think about minimizing of waste, you are thinking about the current system where you have wastes. You think about minimizing those wastes by fine tuning the system. When you think about eliminating or removing wastes from the system, you will have to find the causes for the wastes and remove them from the system. This means that you will have to redefine the process in a way that there are no wastes generated. So in the first case you live in the system where there are wastes, and struggle to get some improvement. In the later, you change the system so that system itself will not have the wastes. Aren’t they really different?

I will give you one more example to clarify the conceptual difference between lean manufacturing and traditional manufacturing. Think about Work In Progress (WIP). In a traditional manufacturing process WIP is treated as an asset which helps to run the process smoothly. Lean manufacturing though, treats WIP as a waste itself. Further, lean manufacturing treats WIP as a mirror which reflects the imperfection of the system.

I can go on and on explaining conceptual differences these systems have. But it is very important to understand one thing about lean manufacturing. Lean manufacturing is not a fine tuning to the traditional manufacturing system you had. It is a completely different system. If you’re going to do this strategy, include a URL for your ezine subscription address and do not use an email address for the “join” address.
  • Your Contact Information: Such as your business phone number or how to reach you for interviews or your press/media kit. Keep in mind that article marketing is a timeless strategy and you may not have an easy ability to retract what you put in your article once it hits major distribution.
  • A Free Report: This could also be part of your call to action or your free bonus report that further enhances your credibility as the expert on the topic of your article.
  • Your email autoresponder: I’m not a big fan of this strategy due to the fact that spammers will text-extract your autoresponder address and add it to their spam list. Perhaps this strategy was best for the 1990’s and has now run its course.
  • An anchor URL that is related to one keyword or keyword phrase that you want to build SEO strength for. Example: if I wanted to build search engine relevance/strength for the term “Article Writing,” I’d link up that term in my resource box to my website. This is an intermediate to advanced level strategy and should not be abused by over-doing it. Keep it simple.

What NOT to include in your RESOURCE BOX:

  • A listing of every website you own. There is no faster way to dilute your credibility than by posting a half dozen irrelevant URLs that have nothing to do with each other. Best to only post ONE URL that is related to the topic of your article.
  • A listing of every accomplishment you’ve achieved to date. No one cares. Keep your resource box brief and to the point. Yes, your resource box should be benefit oriented so that the reader finds value in reading it rather than your ego being justified.
  • Advertisements or pitches for products that are not relevant to the topic of your article.
  • Keep the size of your resource box so that it’s no larger than 15% of your total article size. Too often I see resource boxes that are 50% of the size of the total article and this is abusive.

Your Perfect Resource Box Conclusion:

The BODY of your article is where you “GIVE” and the RESOURCE BOX is where you get to “TAKE” for your article gift of information. The resource box is the “currency of payment” you receive for giving away your article.
